This photo may be of the 1st electric light that was installed in Houston. This photo could be of Daniel Hacker or one of his sons. Several of them worked for HL&P as wick trimmers, per an old city directory. Both men may be Hacker men or one of them could be Nick Linzza, son in law of Daniel Hacker. It was said that Nick Linzza installed the 1st electric light in Houston, TX. Houston and New York were the first cities to build electric power plants.
